What Causes Severe Bleeding After Having Mifegest?
I take first tablet of mifegest after 24 hr I take next two tablets bt after 1hour bleeding is start. Already i am usesmall size two pad and 3hr are running now I am use 3rd pads. And some thick blood are fall. This type of bleeding are normal or not.
Hi & Welcome to HCM. Severe bleeding seems to be due to complication of abortion with infection. Medical abortion by Mifegest kit (One tablet Mifepristone + 4 tablets of Misoprostol) affects different females differently. Not everyone experiences "heavy bleeding", complete abortion can occur with minimal bleeding also. If in a week time, the bleeding does not stop, I would suggest you to consult a gynecologist for further evaluation & appropriate treatment. An ultrasound scan should be done to confirm that abortion has completely occurred and no residual products of conception are found in uterus (womb). A dilatation and curettage may be needed if bleeding does not subside. Hope the advice given above would be useful to you.
