My daughter has had asthma type symptoms for an extended period of time. It s been a year, it s getting worse and dr says they need to do more tests. She needs her inhaler every day, throughout the day. Dr has ruled out asthma and says her bronchial are very inflamed and damaged from prolonged inflammation. Both of my parents had collagen diseases and her dr is testing her for this now too. I don t understand the lack of diagnosis. Does it sound significant of anything you know?

What Causes Severe Bronchial Inflammation?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Routine bronchoscopy and lung function tests would help in your case . Collagen disorders definitely need testing to rule out similar issues. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
