What Causes Severe Burning And Itchiness In The Vaginal Area?

I have a dr appt tomorrow, but for the last three weeks I have been burning and itching something horrible. I have woke myself up scratching. I m 58 and never hurt like this. Could this be a yeast infection and should I take all my medicine plus the vagisil I purchased with me tomorrow?

yes,its probably yeast/candid infection.you can visit your gynecologist for local examination and take a course of antifungal treatment.maintain hygiene,wear loose cotton dry undergarment.thanks.
