yes, I have a burning sensation and feel as if I have contact lenses in my left eye. I had lense replacement surgery Dec 1 for cataracts. I called the Il. Eye Center last week and the nurse suggested an antihistamine eyedrop, which has not really helped. The pain is worse today. What do you suggest?
instead of consulting nurse you should consult eye doctor. preferabily to same doctor who have everated the eye. it can be dryeye or allergy. apply refresh eye tear eye drop three times daily and tab levocetrizine 5mg daily. since antihistamine eye drop did not help it appears to be dry eye. doctors examination will help in diagnosis. can apply cortisone eye drop just recomanded posoperativly.
