There are some of possibilities in your case for your symptoms of
chest pain during swallowing of food.
1. Acid peptic disease/ulceration in
esophagus or some cardiac problem or
muscular pain or
hiatus hernia.
The most likely possibility seems to be acid peptic disease.
Bruise or tear over esophagus should be rule out by endoscopy.
You should undergo some routine blood works,
ultrasound abdomen and upper GI endoscopy to detect the exact underlying cause.
In mean time please try following,
1. Avoid foods that are spicy, excess in calories.
Avoid junk food and soft drinks.
2. Take small frequent meals.
3. Avoid going to sleep for at least 2 hours after taking food.
4. Avoid tobacco in any form.
5. remain active and try to avoid stress.
