What Causes Severe Cough And Throat Infection Despite Taking Ab-Flo And Emlukast-Fx?

I am suffering from severe cough running nose, throat pain for the last 3 days. I have undergone surgery for chronic sinusitis+DNS and polyps in the YEAR 2012. Prolonged medication continued up to August2014.During Sept 2016 due to severe cough & throat infection consulted the Pulmonologist who advised me three tablets, Cepodem-200, toff-md & Bigbro for one week. After relief from cough, the Doctor advised me to take ABFLO-200 & Emlukast FX for 30 days. But again the same problem is repeated.

if infections are repeating u have to go for tab AUGMENTIN 625mg for 7 days (twice daily)
along with salt water gargling thrice daily for 5 days.
tab SINAREST TWICE DAILY for 5 days.
drink plenty of water .
