What Causes Severe Cough At Night?
My developmentally delayed autistic son had the Nissen Fundoplication done for severe reflux when he was about 7 months old. My question is can reflux come back? He has been coughing a lot mostly at night with no other symptoms. Also not wanting to eat which is unusual for him. He keeps touching his neck like its bothering him in the esophagus.

well though very rarely but yes, the reflux is reversible...
i would suggest an upper GI endoscopy if possible and antireflux drugs as of now...
you can consult a GASTROENTEROLOGIST for further managements...
