What Causes Severe Cough While Having Enlarged Tonsil Tissue?
I have been told I have enlarged tonsil tissue on the base of my tongue I have had two different docs do a scope up my nose and said nothing looks nasty but I m still worried this all seems to have started since I had a really bad cough and sore throats could this all be connected
hi, the lingual tonsil which arises from base that is posterior 1/3 tongue causes severe cough while it moves against adjacent tissue- epiglottis. Oral hygiene is necessary and sometimes a course of antibiotics ,anti inflammatories and cough suppressants . Meet ENT Dr at the earliest
