What Causes Severe Diarrhea After Using Prednisone Tablets?

I m on prednisone for treating an allergic reaction to Mendocino I was previously on. Now I am experiencing horrible diarrhea occasional chest pains, hot and cold flashes, when I sleep my arms go numb more. What is all this what is going on with me.???

Firstly may i know your details like age, gender , diagnosis of your condition.
Prednisone has both long term and temporary side effects.One of the more serious side effects is that of the destruction of the intestinal flora, which can cause intestinal infections. "Clostridium Difficile" is a serious infection of the intestines that occurs when the natural flora is destroyed. The first symptom is diarrhea with an extremely foul odor. This condition is serious and can be life threatening.
I would advise you to discontinue the drug and consult a gastroenterologist near yoy for further evaluation and treatment.
