What Causes Severe Diarrhea , Weight Loss And Dark Circles?

Hi. The question is for my sister who lives in Illinois. She is 49 and has had SEVERE diarrhea over four weeks straight (20-25 times a day, water). (dark circles, weight loss) She has had 3 colonoscopies, is under the care of a GI doctor, but they have not yet given her a diagnosis. Everything comes back negative. She recently went camping in the Indiana/Michigan area with her daughter. Is there something she could have caught while camping?Yes she is under the care of a doctor but is getting no answers.

20 to 25 times of motions per day is a matter of concern
If you can provide me more details like her medical history and further information , so that I will be able to help her better
Is it associated with pain in abdomen or bleeding in stool

Meanwhile she should take lots of fluids in the form of fruit juices and ORS to counter dehydration and electrolytic imbalances.
You can her to take probiotics.
Apart form colonoscopy I would advise for stool test for ova, cyst or protozoa and fat content of the stool as well as an HIV test
I would also advise for serological tests to rule out tropical sprue and related diseases
