What Causes Severe Dryness And Itchiness In The Vagina?

I have recently noticed that the inside of my vagina is a bluish/black color. I have had severe dryness and itching for awhile, no discharge. I know I am going through menopause. Im 46yrs. old. I have not had a pap smear in a few years, my doctor retired and im looking for a new one. I know it s not any std I have not had sex in 3yrs. thank you
