What Causes Severe Esophageal Spasms?

I have a slow esophagus according to Mayo clinic I am beomg plagued every night with sever spasms iwhere my Fundal placation operation wa performed . Today I with my wife ar emanipulating the food down from the hernia are where it seems to sticking and fermenting I am du for an endoscopy in a week

dear you may be suffering from post hiatal surgery stenosis??or diverticulum in the power end of esophagus. so take liquid diet , little head end elevation while sleeping to avoid sleep aspirations.avoid spicy food and alcohol. esophageal spasm may be secondary to nut cracker esophagus,or acid reflux disease. use tab.nexium before breakfast.if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
