Multiple lumps on scalp with hairloss can be due to the following reasons: Multiple sebaceous cysts of scalp is a known problem. Scalp is not wet. Seborrhoic dermatitis with superadded infection cause wet scalp also. Both the conditions cause reduction in effective blood supply to the scalp and hence there is patchy hair loss. Consult a Dermatologist and a General Surgeon for clinical evaluation, medical management if dermatitis and surgery if cysts are confirmed. Local skin care and multivitamin therapy helps further.
