What Causes Severe Headache And Shortness Of Breath Despite Having Bipolar Disorder?

Lately I ve been getting a strong smell of ammonia and then a severe headache. I ve also been having paranoia with audio and visual hallucinations and then get a severe headache. I get out of breath very easily when doing something and pour down sweat. I am Bipolar and have DM2 and am on meds for both.

you are having audio visual hallucinations and severe headache these canbe signs of organic disease along with your bipolar disease.you need to go for mri brain and check your thyroid levels .

As you said he is having 3 episodes of ups and two episodes of down in just 5 months.detail history is needed to conform diagnosis.he may have suicidal tendency.from your history it looks he is having bipolar disorder.you need to consult psychiatrist at the earliest.
