My 15 year old son sustained a knee to the head at soccer practice. He was knocked out for 10 seconds. He was wobbly and disorientated immediately after the injury. He iced the large bump on the side of his head and took Tylenol. He has no memory of what happened just prior and until an hour after the event. It has now been 48 hrs and he still has a severe headache. He is not playing soccer and is home from school. Should he be seen by a doctor?
Dear I read your query and understand your concern I am sorry for the symptoms your son is suffering and the accident he suffered Anyway I don't think you have reason too worry too much as he is only experiencing headache with no other neurological deficits In my opinion it will be wise to schedule a brain CT scan just to be sure we aren't missing something Meantime you can use pain killers during headaches to dominate it Hope I have helped you Stay healthy Regards
