Hi, I suddenly feel itchy all over, including my face. I haven t smoked cannabis for over 48 hours (have been a daily user for a year and occasional user for 22 years). Could this possibly be a side effect of withdrawal?? I think it seems strange... I am not on any other meds. Thanks.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchiness on your face . It could be possible that it occur as a result of withdrawl of cannabis , but there can be other reasons also like fungal rashes , contact dermatitis , eczema and skin infection . I would suggest you to to apply ice pack on affected area to relieve itchiness and redness , take zyrtec and avoid sun exposure . If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe steroid ointment , antibacterial or antifungal depending upon the diagnosis .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
