What Causes Severe Itchiness And Redness In Different Parts Of The Body?

Hello, I have had severe irritation, itchiness and redness under my breasts for about 2 weeks now. I have treated it with anti fungal OTC medications. Soon after my upper body started healing, my legs started developing patches of red, itchy skin as well, followed by bruising. I am concerned this is something other than a fungal infection. I am an otherwise healthy 54 year old woman. Thank you

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
