What Causes Severe Itching And Burning Sensation On Abdomen?

I have had now three different episodes of an intermittent severe itching burning sensation on my abdomen. There is no sign of a rash, sore or any type of skin irritation.it comes like a short wave like movement along my abdomen lasting approx 10 seconds with an interval of approx 15 seconds . This is the third time that I have had it...any ideas?

Hi

You seem to be developing recurrent episodes of urticaria.
Now this is basically a type of skin allergy that can develop due to various reasons like allergy to food or due to drugs like antibiotics or pain killers.
You might need to regularly take some oral antihistamines like levocetrizine once daily at night to relieve the itching and allergic..
See a nearby dermatologist in case the itching tends to persist.
