What Causes Severe Itching Inside My Ears?

I am a woman in her 50 s who has had a problem with severe itching inside my ears for at least 10 ya ears. It bothers me all day but worse at night when laying down itching becomes worse and more puss also. I have been to several doctors over these years with no cure...I have a bag full of meds that never helped. What do I do and who should I see????

It must be chronic suppurative otitis media and fungus. Needs repeated cleaning drainage and drops. To check your coats and gowns - allergy to these clothing material and also skin/ hair infections give rise to repeated ear infection. If mastoid bone is affected - surgery would be reqd.
