What Causes Severe Itching Sensation In The Anus?

Hi, I had worms as a child and I was too embarrassed to do anything about it or tell anyone. Now I m 25 and the worms stopped appearing in my bowel movements years ago, but I still get a lot of the symptoms; I m always hungry, I have terrible anal itching quite often, and so on... I guess my question is three parts- 1: is it possible I still have the worms? 2: if so, should I make an appointment asap or will home remedies work? 3: if I have had them this whole time, will there be any sort of negative impact on my body, health wise?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history given here, let me inform you that if this is the worm being suspected then it has to be confirmed with the help of stool examination and with other imaging studies, if it is there then it has to be eradicated with grass rooted level, worm infestation may not be having any negative impaction on life, without clinical confirmation it can not be worm infestation hope this information helps.
