What Causes Severe Left-sided Upper Back Pain?
iam having severe pain in my entire upper back.this began on the left side about amonth ago my dr gave me muscle relaxer and pain med.2days ago i felt coming on so took a muscle relaxer and used a heating pad.the next am my whole upper back and shoulders felt like was in abad auto accident.my right is isworse any atempt at sudden move creates temndous pain which comes around to front .it like a burning knife.i am a 70yr old male

Your pain may be due to gastric abdominal pain. You may feel discomfortness to central. Upper abdomen also. You should also go for ECG to check ur heart is correct of there may be some difficulty.
