Hi thanks for posting your query and welcome to HCM.I have gone through your details.There are many causes of migrain like genetic,environmental,diet ,lifestyle,
stress,caffeine,exposure to sun.According to my opinion faulty diet and lifestyle cause aggravation of pitta in the body due to which there is impairment of digestion causing ama formation.This ama accumulate in manovahi strotras causing migrain and associated symptoms.
Treatment of MIGRAIN includes intake of pitta pacifying diet and lifestyle changes.
Diet
Avoid intake of pitta aggravating diet like spicy,sour,tea,coffee,alcohol,non veg in the diet.
Consume diet which have cooling effect on the body like mint,cucumber,coriander,amla ,
aloe vera .
Have coconut water daily or thrice a week.
Avoid processed ,canned,frozen food and take freshly prepared green vegetables,fruits and salad.
Consume food which increases immunity in the body like wheatgrass,gooseberry,giloy.
Lifestyle
Practise
yoga and pranayam
Anulom vilom,bhastrika,bhramri,udgeeth(
meditation) ,vajrasan,pavanmuktasan,bhujangasan,sheetali,sheetkari.
Panchkarma
Nasya( administration of medicated Anu oil into nostrils)
Shirodhara( pouring of medicated oil over forehead)
Head massage ( with herbal
brahmi and bhringraj oil)
Ayurvedic medicines effective for this purpose are shirshooladi vajra ras,
pathyadi kwath,suvarn suthshekar ras which you can take under expert guidance.
Don't take stress if you have migrain It is absolutely normal.The drug PCM is helpful in acute migrain
Also avoid exposure to sun and triggering factors like bright light.
