What Causes Severe Mood Swings While On Citalopram And Sertraline?
I am researching SSRI s for a dementia patient (frontal temporal lobe) who is experiencing mood swings. His neurologist gave me a short list of drugs - seratraline, citalopram, and mentioned prozac, lexapro. I am wondering which is perhaps newest/most effective. My friend is on no other medications except water pills for a short term edema condition in his lower legs.....

Dementia is a neurological disease that involves neuropathophysiology and mostly age-related. Certain geriatric elements are there that might be playing the role numbers or pharmaceutical molecules are there, none of them cures the disease what the data suggestive of, still the drug being used or tried desperately.
