What Causes Severe Pain Above The Bladder With Purple Discharge After Sex?
Hi Dr. Mia, I am sexually active and I know for a fact that neither me or my partner have STD s, last time I had sex, I had a terrible pain just above my bladder, the next day I experienced it again and when I went to the bathroom, I had a slimy, kind of hard purple discharge on my panty, I don t know what it is, I really need help. (BTW I am using a birth control pill)

The pain that you had after the coitus may not be due to coitus it self but this could be irregular menses, and such irregularities is very common with the history of hormone containing pill being taken not for any pathological condition, the discharge could be menses bleeding, hope this information helps, (Comment:- Disturbing physiological hormone cycle with hormone containing pill without any obvious cause could be danger in later life too)
