Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Essential thrombocytosis may cause abnormal functions of platelets lead to bruising. Please repeat platelet count in the laboratory. Usually sleep may lead to auto immune thrombocytopenia. Please mention how much is the count check for peripheral smear, bone marrow aspiration and Jak 2 mutations. Also check for flow cytometry, platelet aggregometry, etc.
Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly. Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
