Hi You had a spinal surgery and are having a bad knee and now have pain in the back of your knee up to your leg. In my clinic i would try to evaluate from both perspectives. If your pain increases on coughing or straining or at night, then chances are that it is from spine . If you feel that you have a swelling behind knee and that is causing pain then I will think in terms of knee pathology. I would suggest you undergo MRI Spine for proper assessment.
