What Causes Severe Pain Below The Rib Cage?

I have severe pain right between and below my rib cage. It has been happening about every 1.5 weeks. It wakes me up at night. I have been vomitting and it causes my back to spasm. Been to hospital twice, the did an ekg, blood work & urine test. Went to the doctor this afternoon and he prescribed me Pantoprazole & Ketorolac Tromethamine. Not helping. Pain has been severe since 6pm.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, I had gone through the history and the symptoms given and I could say that it is the hyperacidity that may cause such symptoms of vomiting, chest pain, your have been given the correct medicines for this but the right dose matters the great like pantaprazole 20mg once in day with Domperidone once in day for six weeks and it has to be taken at evening time only, along with this better to take care in diet, like avoid taking spicy food, heavy meal coffee, smoking prior to bed hope this information helps.
