Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Severe Pain In Arms Years After An Injury?
I m 22, 5 4, 240 lbs and I m having an issue in my arm. Like...I shattered my entire wrist six years ago when I was hit by a car while riding my bike. I know I m going to have problems with my wrist and arm in years to come but this is different. Picking up something as light as a bottle of pop hurts. Moving the arm a little hurts...It s not making sense cause a nasty bruise on my ankle from bashing it on my bed only hurts when I touch it or when that area becomes itchy...I poked around at the arm to try and feel a difference and the one that hurts feels awkwardly different...I have no clue what caused a straight line bruise.

Hi,
There might be a missed injury of shoulder ligament or muscle which might be showing up now. Get yourself examined by an orthopedist.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
