What Causes Severe Pain In Heels?

Hello....I am a 55 yr old teacher who is up and down all day....I am overweight and experiencing a great deal of pain in my heels. I cannot wear shoes that touch my heel because of the pain. Also with being overweight my knees are beginning to bother me as well....is there a shoe you would recommend for someone like me? Thank you!

After going through your query I concluded that you are probably having planter fascistic as it is commonest cause of pain in heels.You are also overweight and also having osteoarthritis of knee joint. You wants to know the shoes for you . You should wear soft heel shoes which has good spongy heel.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered.
