What Causes Severe Pain In Left Shoulder And Underarm?
Hi my husband is experiencing severe deep pain running down his left shoulder and down towards his underarm. ..it came sudden and for no apparent reason ..he s had it a few hrs now and it seems to be worse..he is 46 and a heavy drinker..no other symptoms or pain elsewhere.

This type of radiating pain specially in the left shoulder could be due to heart muscle ischemia. Its highly advisable to take him to a hospital for urgent ECG and blood test to rule out any impending heart attack.
If you have Disprin at home then give him and take him to hospital.
