Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

This condition is called Plantar Fasciitis and is due to the strain on the plantar ligament. Sometimes there is a bony growth also. Start pain killers, hot fomentation twice daily and use silicone heel pads. Try for 2-3 weeks and if there is no adequate relief consult your doctor for local steroid/PRP injection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel, Orthopaedic Surgeon
