What Causes Severe Pain In Stomach After Passing Stools?
I excreted faeces and once done I felt like I had been hit in the stomach. The whole night it felt like I had too much gas in my stomach and today (24hours later) the pain has moved into my gut and stomach. I can't really move without wanted to fall down and hold my stomach. What may be wrong?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It could be colicky abdominal pain and it must be due to intestinal infection. The most probable cause of this infection could be protozoa and it can be managed with single dose therapy of Secnidazole, if symptoms persist then for differential diagnosis you will have to see the doctor.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Akhtarhusain
