What Causes Severe Pain The Testicles Having The Intercourse 2 Days Before?

My 22 year old just came home from work early from extreme pain in his right testicle. There is some swelling, no heavy lifting within 48 hours, sexually intercourse - yes about 36 hours ago. Thank You for your time..little out of my league here. - Tracey

Thanks for query.
Sudden pain in testicle is mostly due to either infection of Epididymis (Epididymitis)or Testicle itself (Orchitis).

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of Scrotum.

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Augmentin along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.

It may take 10-15 days for complete cure.

Ensure to drink more water.
