What Causes Severe Pelvic Pain And Abdominal Bloating After Having Intercourse?
I am on birth control for my acne, I don’t know if this effects my question I’m just mentioning it incase. I have tried to have intercourse with my boyfriend multiple times and each time I’m in unbearable pain when he puts it in. To me the pain will be dull in my pelvic area and in a way makes me feel very constipated & like I need to pee along with that and a bloated stomach all at once. When moved it’s a sharp pain also feels like tearing still with dull pain happening.I have also bled once or twice and each time we’ve tried I am sore in a way raw feeling for 2-3 days. I’ve been told some girls have little pain the first time. I have a high pain tolerance but this pain IS NOT LITTLE.I’m wondering how to fix this or why it could be happening
From the description you have given, it looks like you have a taut hymen that is difficult to be ruptured, hence the severe pain you experience during an attempted intercourse.
Another possible cause is a dry vagina, which can happen due to inadequate arousal, infections and hormone disturbances.
To know the cause, you need to get a local examination by a specialist and plan further management. For a taut hymen, repair is often done if dilators are not useful. Infections need to be treated and dryness can be managed through the use of lubricants.
Please abstain until you are treated properly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
