I had a colonoscopy yesterday and had oxygen via a tube up my nose. Well, I feel fine, however, I have not stopped sneezing or blowing my nose all day yesterday and still today it is going on. I know I do not have a cold and I recall do recall the same thing happening two years ago when I had a stent put in my heart - the same reaction as after this procedure. Can you comment.
1. You may be allergic to the tube through the nose pipe or plastic. 2. Oxygen without humidification lead to dryness of the nasal mucosa leads to sneezing. 3. Drugs like Propofol may lead to above symptoms.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your ENT specialist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
