What Causes Severe Stomach Cramp After Withdrawing Lortabs, Percocets And Other Medicines?

My son in law was prescribed Lortabs, Percocets and other pain meds for a variety of pain including teeth being pulled, leg pain, stomache pain (from the withdrawls) and depression and anxiety. He has been on them for at least 5 weeks and has stopped taking them 4 days ago. He complains that he is dying of stomach cramps and pains. is this typical withdrawl? and if so how long does it last? And what can we do to help him? Thank you

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern what ever symptoms you have stated here may not be the withdrawal symptoms but this could be due to the anxiety and depression, this depends upon the controlling power of patient, this could come around very soon, hope this information helps you take care and have nice day.
