What Causes Severe Stomach Pain After Bowel Movement And Blood In Stool?
HI sometimes when I have my morning bowel movement, my stomach starts to feel horrible and I have to lie down until it subsides. It s not everyday. I also have occasional bleeding but think it s only maybe from possible hemoroids. I did have diverticulitis a year ago. I ve been putting off going to the GI DR. What is your opinion??
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. In my opinion, your current symptoms are mostly due to diverticulitis. Diverticulitis can recur and cause severe abdominal pain and discomfort. So better to consult your gastroenterologist and get done lower GI scopy. If need get done removal of diverticula. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
