What Causes Severe Swelling And Rashes On The Lower Legs?
I am 73 and have severe swelling and rash on the lower part of my legs and ankles. I had an ultra sound performed 2 days ago and it showed no signs of clots. I am on my 2nd day of an antibiotics but the swelling and rash and burning sensation are still there and it appears to be getting worse rather than better. I was told I had cellulitis, but am wondering if there is something else that could be causing this---plus, no fever but extreme aches in the joints and chills .
