What Causes Severe Swelling In The Feet And Heavy Bleeding After An Medical Abortion?

Hi, so I had the medication abortion 13 days ago. I did have severe bleeding for the next 3to4 days and just stayed in bed. Feeling a lot better lately but as of yesterday, my feet are very very swollen. Seems like they get bigger as the day goes on. MyMy questiois, is this related to the abortion? And also, if the nurse that day was able to locate the fetus and tell me I was 7 weeks along, do I not have to worry about them saying it s an ectopic pregnancy when I go in sat for my follow up? Really nervous about that!

Hi, I think you should check your blood pressure and hemoglobin level also. Swelling of legs can be due to high blood pressure or due to anemia also. Heavy bleeding occurs after medical abortion. So, don't worry about it. If you were told that it was a 7 weeks intrauterine pregnancy, ectopic is not a possibility. Hope I have answered your question.
