Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Niraj Modi's Response
Here you have hurt your tail bone while having fall. And striking on snow with tailbone. So there will be micro level damage in it which is paining. There might be a chance of hairline fracture. But don't worry here you need to take rest for some time. Use hot pack and cold pack frequently to reduce swelling, inflammation and increase blood circulation to soft tissue as well as bone so that the healing can be faster. You can also do ultrasound therapy as a physiotherapy treatment if there is no hair line crack. I suggest you not to sit for a long time for some days till the time possible. As well do not do more of standing or walking too. Just take rest in bed for 2 to 3days and it will be fine. At the same time if you feel pain have not reduce then visit orthopedic take x ray and medication for pain. Take care.
