What Causes Severe Throat Pain And High BP?
I am 35 years of age, yesterday i had a severe thoat pai . i went to see the doctor who measured my BP. My BP was 150/100 in the right arm and normal in the left . doctor gave me some medicine & asked me to come again after one day . What are the reasons for differnce in BP and what is my likely problem

Usually in healthy person right Upper arm blood pressure 10mm higher than left. Lower limb blood pressure 20mm higher than the upper limb.
So don't worry. But drugs like decongestants used for cold may aggravate the blood pressure.
To reduce salt intake and eat green leafy vegetables are useful. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling for throat pain.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
