hi! i hav a 4yr old daughter n recently gt her urine routine examined which revealed 40-50 pus cells. later did the colony count also . cn u pls explain hw did she had such an high infection n wht cn b the side effects. the doc has put me on cetal n oflamac forte dose

Hi,

The most common risk factor in a girl child who is completely normal is washing the anal and genital area from back to front which will infect the urinary tract.

From next time please be careful about this and also try to avoid diapers as much as possible and do not put a single diaper consistently for more than 4 hours.
