FOR 8 MONTHS I HAVE FELT EXHAUSTED ... WITH EXCESSIVE YAWING ; UP TO 3 TO 4 TIMES A MINUTE. THE FOLKS AT VA PALO ALTO TOLD ME TO BEGIN DRINKING COFFEE ... THIS DID NOTHING FOR ME THE YAWING CAN HAPPEN AT ANYTIME OF THE DAY ... I EVEN WAS WOKING UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FROM YAWING. YOUR THOUGHT ?

Your symptom suggest of a neurological entity. Have you seen a neurologist or a neurosurgeon in the previous hospital. If not do so now. He might suggest an MRI or an eeg to determine a possible neurological anomaly. Given you are having this problem for long time i suggest you take drastic measures
