What Causes Sharp Pain Between Neck Skin And Windpipe?
I have sharp pain on the front left side of my neck. Its not in the throat, but outside, between skin and wiindpipe. Its doesnt hurt to swallow but its very tender to the touch. I have no other symptoms: fever, rash, sore throat. Which type of Doctor should I go see?

I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles several times a day , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain and take anti hisatmine like benadyl twice a days . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin at least for 5 days or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist for thyroid problem .
