What Causes Sharp Pain From Hip To Knee?

For 24 hours now, I have had sharp pain in my right leg(hip to knee) when I move it or try to weight bear. I did not hit it off anything and I highly doubt I have stretched it too far. It even hurts unbearably to lift it off the bed a couple centimeters. What is the likely problem?

Hello
Thanks for posting
The most likely cause seems to be muscle spasm or pinched nerve. It needs physical examination to confirm .Meanwhile you can have ibuprofen along with muscle relaxant drug thiocolchicoside.Get it prescribed from your local doctor.
Take care
