Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doctor my name is Phillip and I have a problem. I was recently very angry and went to the bathroom at my school throwing a childish tamerpon. At the end I kicked a wall with lots of force with the side of my foot. Now ever since yesterday my foot has been REALLY hurting its even real hard to walk. Do I have a bruised foot or is it something worse?
Hello Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have sustained injury to your foot by hitting foot against wall and getting since then getting pain in foot.
The pain could be due to ligamental tear or may be due to bony injury.
Please consult qualified Orthopaedic surgeon for clinical examination and get X-Ray of your foot done to rule out any bony injury.
in the mean while take pain killers like Diclofenac or Brufen twice daily.
Ensure you take enough rest and avoid standing for a long time or walking .
Further treatment will be decided by him depending upon the finding of the X-Ray. Dr.Patil.
