What Causes Sharp Pain In Nose During Cold Weather?

When the weather turns colder and I am outside walking, the inside of my nose feels like a terrible tooth ache when the cold weather hits it. The pain is deep inside my nose. I can hardly stand to be in the cold air unless I breathe out of my mouth or cover my nose. I am an avid outdoors person and enjoy winter sports. I have had seasonal allergy and sinus problems most of my adult life, but this just started in the last year and only affects me when it is cold outside.

Here according to history it seems mostly allergic rhinitis or sinusitis problem ..
You have hypersensitivity to cold weather according to history ....

When allergic inflammation present , take antihistaminic drug to relieve congestion...

You can take azelestine nasal spray when needed ....

Steam inhalation can be done two times per day ....

Take turmeric powder in hot milk daily ...

Your nose also should be examined to look for polyp if present. ...

You can consult allergic specialist for immunotherapy if applicable to you ....

If allergic inflammation repeated than before anticipated season Allegra M course can be taken ...

Consult ENT surgeon and discuss your case with him...
