What Causes Sharp Pain In The Chest After Taking Fenofibrate And Diltiazem-30?

Hi, I am Sujon Dhar and I am 31 now. I have higher triglycerides level and according to Doctor s suggestion I am taking fenofibrate and diltiazem-30. I always feel discomfort in chest after taking meals (Lunch & Dinner). I also experience pinching pain in chest sometimes. Do I need to worry about this ?? or should I see the Doctor again? what would be the finding ?

The discomfort with meals may be due to reflux or may be due to intolerance to food.
Reflux is treated with lifestyle (diet changes mainly) and medication.

The chest pain that occurs otherwise may be significant if it occurs with activity. This is the time when the heart works most.
If this is the case, then you should be reviewed by your doctor.
Physical examination and tests may be needed.

The tests would include an ECG to take a look at the rate, rhythm of the heart beat and also look for areas of the heart which are not getting enough blood.
