What Causes Sharp Pain In The Middle Of The Abdomen?
Good Morning, dear Doctors. I have been experiencing sharp, intense pain in the middle of my abdomen, right beneath my rib cage for a period of time. They come and go during the day but when the pain hits, I have difficulty breathing and have to bend over to release the pain. Please help me.

Hi.The reasons of such a pain can be : Intestinal colic, pancreatitis , stomach volvulus, mesenteric ischemia, and gal bladder colic and so on.
Ultrasonography and CT scan can get a diagnosis and you can get treated according to the findings .
We have to also consider other reasons like pleurisy, heart attack , angina and so on. get X-ray chest and EKG too done.
