Hello,

Such pains may not be related to the gallbladder removal. Colonoscopy is also normal. Sharp pain inside of right side can be due to costochondritis, some intestinal problems and maybe colitis. Since MRI and scan are normal and you have already taken the opinion of a gastroenterologist, the pain may be due to a condition called irritable bowel syndrome that is irritable bowel syndrome.

In such a case all the relevant investigations will be normal, and the pain is then related to the stress and anxiety in such cases. Proper management of the psychological factors with medications if required may give her best relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
